500 Days of Summer

I went to watch 500Days of Summer last week with my sister. I was wondering how can summer (the season) have 500 days. It turns out that the Summer being referred to in the movie is a the character of the girl played by Zooey Deschanel.  At the start of the movie, I thought that it’s a boring one but as the story progressed, it’s rather interesting, refreshing and a feel-good movie.

It’s not your typical love story like what the movie warned you about at the start of it. Sorry to spoil it for you, but this is one of those not-so-happy endings that won’t make you feel bad about it. I guess some things are not just meant to be. As I see it, some people come into our life, not to stay, but rather to teach us a lesson.
