Courthouse Wedding Dress

What’s an appropriate courthouse wedding dress?
If someone would ask me this question, there are few ideas that pops into my head such as what Carrie in the Sex and the City movie wore on her wedding with Mr. Big. I honestly think that it looked too plain but she was a happy bride. Who can argue with that?
I personally like what Eva Longoria wore on her civil courthouse wedding with Tony Parker.
I found this Lauren by Ralph Lauren Belted Coat Dress online. It is something that I think would look fantastic and appropriate for a courthouse wedding.
