Divorce Party on the Tyra Banks Show

The first time I heard about Divorce Party was when I watched a recent episode of the Tyra Banks Show. 

Breaking-up with someone whom you dated for months or years can really be painful. How much more if you had started a family with them? I have never been through such thing but obviously it must be a really hard choice to make especially if kids are involved. One guest at the show stated tha she had known that the marriage was no longer that good after 3 years but then she stayed with the husband for another 15 years. 

The episode started with the women doing something therapeutic to let go of their excess baggages. One of the guest cut her wedding pictures into pieces, another had shredded her marriage license and the other girls did similar symbolic acts of moving on. 

Amy Botwinick, author of the book “Congratulations on Your Divorce” was also present at the show to give some advice to the newly single ladies.
