title pic What Facial Wash Do You Use?

Posted by pink on October 22, 2008

The first step in a facial care regimen is to cleanse the face. Ever since I can remember, I have been using Cetaphil to wash my face. I have a combination skin type. It tends to get oily on the T-zone and dry on the rest.  When I started to be conscious with the products I apply on my skin, Cetaphil was recommended to me by my mom’s friend. It’s very gentle and it never dries my skin. What cleanser can be more gentle than Cetaphil?

However, I also get curious and try out other products.  Sometimes, I think it’s too boring that I have been using the same product for years now. But the others that I have experimented with dried out my skin, and leaves it itchy. Some makes me breakout. This is something that I really want to avoid. Proactiv did not work for me!

I also use St Ives apricot scrub to exfoliate my skin. It’s a good scrub. without being too harsh on the skin. Another product that my skin loved is the  Clinique Foaming Face Wash, but my pocket was complaining about it. Too bad, I find it expensive.  Since, Cetaphil and St. Ives apricot scrub are doing their job at a cheaper cost, I choose to stick with them.
