The Divas

I came across a site that features women who has become icons to us. I spent my entire afternoon reading a great deal about their life stories at The Divas Site. Some of them are notable for their elegant beauty such as my favorite beauty icon, Audrey Hepburn. She popularized that “little black dress”. Aside from actresses, there were also singers who are best remembered for their soulful voice such as Aretha Franklin. Also, there are those strong women with the likes of Lady Margaret Thatcher, who was once hailed as the iron butterfly for her determined crusade against communism. I have the same icon too, Audrey Hepburn. Aside from having the poise and grace, she also used her popularity to help the less fortunate children especially in Africa. I don’t think a lot of Hollywood celebrities would be willing to do that with a clean heart. Good choice I say!

Great list, quite a few are my inspirations for different reasons. Love Liz Taylor and Jackie O and Grace Kelly. Oprah is in a league of her own.
