My Favorite Lip Balms

Whether I am outdoors or indoors, I easily get chapped lips. Chapped, dry lips is usually caused by outdoor factors such as sun, wind and cold. You can also get this indoors when you are in air-conditioned rooms in which the relative humidity is low. Another common cause of chapped lips is an allergic reaction to dyes in lipstick.

Lip Balm is a must-have for me. Well, I have not tried every lip balm in the market but I have experimented with some of them. My favorite would be Blistex (Complete Moisture) and Born Lippy from The Body Shop. With Blistex, there’s a lot to choose from depending on your needs. All Blistex sticks combine proven moisturizers with sun protection ranging from SPF 10-30.

However, my personal fave is the Born Lippy (strawberry flavor). I love the smell of this one and how it feels on the lips. Plus, it also works as a lip gloss because it gives a hint of color on those pouters. It should have been perfect but there’s no indication that it contains any sunscreen. As long as you avoid staying under the sun, then this one should work for you!
