It was back around '81 or '82 and wasn't called AIDS then. The only information anyone had about it was that is was a "gay man's disease". Plus the drug scene then wasn't as "safe" as it is now (which is rubbish because it's never safe) so sex and drugs weren't conscidered as such a bad thing. The one thing that remains, though, is the way models are seen in the fashion industry. Just watch your countries Top Model show to see how Tyra Banks and others are trying to change it.
